Borneo Divers is a PADI certified 5 star resort designed with the diver in mind.

Dive Centre

The dive sites around Mabul are different from the dive sites of Sipadan. The steep walls of Sipadan allow the diver to go down even up to 600m. On the other hands, the Mabul dive sites are gentle declines and are quite shallow (down to 25m). It is an ideal place for beginners to learn diving. PADI offers advanced diving courses as well as courses for beginners. The resort has Diver Propulsion Vehicle which helps the diver to conserve air and remain underneath for more time.

Mabul has a rich and colorful ocean fauna, and it is home to many exotic creatures. However, its dive sites have less of the tiny creatures that macro divers generally look for, because there is limited muck at the sites. As the dive sites are shallow, the bottom area is mostly sandy. The more conspicuous animals are eels, crabs, shrimps, nudibranchs etc. The more common fish species are pipefish, sea horse, mandarin fish etc. Flamboyant cuttlefish and blue ring octopus are rarer and divers are generally eager to find them.

The guides who accompany divers would know the time and place where each type of creatures could probably be found. Those who want to freeze those beautiful critters in photographs or videos can take their guidance to get the best shots.

Conference Room

The resort has an excellent conference room for holding meetings or get-togethers or exhibitions. It is fitted with a variety of equipments like slide projector, digital projector, overhead projector, whiteboard, public address system, and every other fitting that a conference venue would require.
